The Feeling
This retreat is for the woman who wants to trace Irish knitting back toward its roots. The journey begins in Galway, moves through the rugged valleys of Connemara, and then crosses Galway Bay by small island plane to Inis Mór, where stone walls, sea wind, and traditional cream wool still feel inseparable.
Across the week, guests experience a sheep farm, handspinning, regional stitch history, a curated Galway yarn crawl, eco-botanical dyeing, an island cabling masterclass, maritime folklore, and the quiet signature moment of the retreat: a Silent Stitch session overlooking the Atlantic coast.
It is designed to be both refined and elemental: private transportation, thoughtful meals, boutique lodging, serious instruction, and enough quiet space to let the west of Ireland settle into your hands.
